The trafficking of people for nefarious purposes has been part of the human experience throughout history. One might think, in our enlightened time, that man had risen above such degradation and abuse, but sadly this couldn’t be further from the truth.
Alliance 8.7, a coalition of international anti-human trafficking organizations, jointly estimated there were some 40 million people enslaved worldwide.
The trafficking of human beings is tied with arms dealing as the second-largest and fastest-growing criminal industry in the world.

In the Bible, Jesus taught that we should leave the ninety-nine to seek the one (Matthew 18:12). We want all those who are suffering from the evils of human trafficking to know that they are wanted, they are loved, and they are not forgotten.
